Coffee Artista – Refund & Return Policy

1. Purpose & Scope
This Refund & Return Policy (“Policy”) explains how Coffee Artista Café (“Coffee Artista,” “we,” “our,” or “us”) handles requests for refunds, returns, and exchanges for purchases made in‑store at 1506 E Griffin Pkwy c, Mission, TX 78572, through our website or mobile ordering platforms, via third‑party delivery partners, or in connection with catering and event services (collectively, the “Services”). This Policy supplements our Terms & Conditions.
2. General Refund Principles

Refunds are issued to the original form of payment whenever possible.

Original receipts or digital order confirmations are required to process refunds or exchanges.

Refunds include the purchase price plus applicable sales tax; gratuities are non‑refundable.

We reserve the right to deny a refund or exchange if the request does not comply with this Policy.

4. Return & Exchange Process (Retail Merchandise)

Bring the item and receipt to our café during business hours.

A team member will inspect the item to confirm it meets return criteria.

Choose a refund to original payment method or an exchange of equal value.

Credit‑card refunds may take 3–5 business days to appear, depending on your card issuer.
5. Event & Catering Rescheduling
If you need to reschedule an event, contact us in writing at [email protected] at least 7 days prior to the original date. We will apply your deposit to a new available date within 90 days, subject to scheduling availability. Only one reschedule per deposit is permitted.
6. Incorrect or Damaged Deliveries
For third‑party delivery orders that arrive incorrect or damaged:

Report the issue through the delivery partner’s app within the time window stated by that service.

Additionally, email us at [email protected] with order details and photos. We will coordinate with the delivery partner to resolve the issue, which may include a refund or redelivery.
7. Chargebacks & Disputes
If you initiate a chargeback without first contacting us to resolve the issue, we reserve the right to dispute the charge with your card issuer and provide supporting documentation.
8. Legal Rights & Limitations
Nothing in this Policy limits your statutory rights under applicable consumer‑protection laws, including the Texas Deceptive Trade Practices‑Consumer Protection Act (Tex. Bus. & Com. Code §17). Our maximum liability for any claim shall not exceed the amount you paid for the disputed transaction.
9. Policy Modifications
We may update this Policy at any time. Material changes will be posted in‑store and online at least 14 days before they take effect, with the “Effective Date” updated accordingly.
